Anja Laukötter, senior researcher with the ERC BodyCapital project, has been awarded the 2019 Otto-Hintze-Prize by the Michael-und-Claudia-Borgolte-Stiftung for her Habilitation:

Politik im Kino. Eine Emotions- und Wissenschaftsgeschichte des Sexualaufklärungsfilms im 20. Jahrhundert (Habilitationsschrift, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin)

The prize is reserved for graduates and staff of the Institute of History at Humboldt-Universität and is awarded every two years.

The prize is named after the Berlin university historian Prof. Dr. Otto Hintze (1861-1940), who - apart from fundamental work on the history of Prussia - has achieved groundbreaking results in the transcultural-comparative constitutional and social history.

Congratulations, Anja!!
